2.3 MigriXplore

MigriXplore is a license-controlled add-on feature for MigriX, which contains the following extra functionality:

Large models
MigriXplore allows for running simulations on models up to 10 million elements, whereas MigriX is limited to 2.5 million elements

Model calibration
Observation data such as BHT temperatures, Vitrinite Reflectance and HC zones can be loaded into the Observation Tables Editor. Input data may be loaded from text files, databases or be entered manually. The observation data can be displayed in the 3D view using the Import table option in Wells. After simulating the model, observation data can be compared to simulation results on a well-by-well basis in the Wells Calibration panel. The model mismatch can also be mapped onto the model layers by using the Results/Maturities/CalibrationRo and Results/Hydrocarbon properties

User-defined kinetics
MigriXplore allows for creating new user-defined kinetics in the Kinetics Editor. Multi-component HC systems and mapping to kinetic schemes can be defined in the HC Table Editor.

Viewing stored results
Simulation results (grids, polygons, tables) can be stored automatically during simulations according to the Output Table setup. Previously runs caseruns can be selected in the Caserun Selection tool and the results can be accessed displayed either in the 3D view or in the Caserun Results panel.

Log viewer
The Log Viewer panel allows for viewing vertical profiles and result properties (as log tracks) at any model location. The location is updated by selecting the Show Vertical Log option from the 3D view RMB menu.
